I avoided gardening for half of my adult life because of a toddler-era holdover of hating dirty hands. Thankfully, my love of cooking, hosting, and having things just so turned my thumbs green, quite literally.

After fifteen years of growing leafy greens, tomatoes, chiles galore, and so much more in my Hudson Valley potager, I founded Gardenwell to share what I'd learned. What began with greening rooftops and balconies in New York City has grown into an edible garden design studio, bringing abundant kitchen gardens to homes near and far.

Along the way, I discovered a passion for teaching, helping others cultivate not just their gardens but their confidence and connection to the natural world. Today, that spirit lives on in our one-on-one garden education, classes and garden talks, and in a growing community of gardeners and home cooks who follow along from garden to table.
