You love your veggie garden but…

It can be overwhelming. Neither reactivity nor avoidance suits you.

You’d love to plan and tend more intentionally.

It can be difficult to tell which advice is relevant and trustworthy, particularly in the age of AI-generated content. No shade to ChatGPT, but it has never grown kale.

Yes! Tell me more.

This three month teaching series is for home vegetable gardeners across the Northeast and other four-season climates, growing organic food with care and inspired to cook garden-to-table. Guided by our beneficial kitchen garden approach, we explore soil health, beauty, and ecological balance in support of flavorful harvests and resilient gardens.

The 2026 Summer Season includes a monthly live, 90-minute video call led by Gardenwell founder Kiera Faulkner Jekos.

Each will focus on what matters most in the garden right then, with space for conversation and questions. All sessions are recorded.

Cost per season is $75.

Kiera Faulkner Jekos

Founder

I avoided gardening for half of my adult life because of a toddler-era holdover of hating dirty hands. Thankfully, my love of cooking, hosting, and having things just so turned my thumbs green, quite literally.

After fifteen years of growing leafy greens, tomatoes, chiles galore, and more in my Hudson Valley potager, I brought that experience to New York City, greening rooftops and balconies and inviting others to enjoy eating from terrace to table.

Now based in Rhinebeck, I design gardens and teach throughout the Northeast, having guided hundreds of backyard gardeners in cooler climates. My work is rooted in color, thoughtful design, and natural materials, with a focus on gardens that build confidence, beauty, and connection.
