Cheers to Sage
A toast to the season
Sage is not one of my most used herbs but I adore it in the garden for a few reasons. 1) Abundance and beauty, year after year, that lasts long after the first frost 2) fried in a light batter and I’m transported back to Florence 3) this cocktail. It’s the epitome of hygge- warm, cozy, inviting, meant to be sipped in front of the fire. I tend to reach for Hudson Whiskey NY’s Bright Lights, Big Bourbon, although picked up a bottle of their Do the Rye Thing to try next time. Without further delay, cheers, my friends.
